Applications for The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) postgraduate programmes in Sustainability Leadership and Sustainability Leadership for the Built Environment starting 2024 will open very shortly. The programmes support you to develop the knowledge and leadership capacity to tackle critical sustainability challenges and provide the skills needed to support career progression and drive change.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and we encourage prospective students to submit their application early for review by the interviewing panel.
Our postgraduate programmes are designed for those working professionals in full-time employment and delivered via a blended approach of short residential workshops and remote learning. We offer content that is designed specifically to focus on practical solutions to sustainability (nature, society and climate) challenges/opportunities, while also creating value for their organisations and its key stakeholders.
Cambridge's approach to learning – through encouraging debate and discussion, challenging assumptions and exploring new perspectives and insights – provides exhilarating intellectual satisfaction and builds learners' capability to engage widely, think critically, and reach evidence-based conclusions on tackling complex challenges. Students have opportunities to engage with CISL's latest thinking on critical themes such as the circular economy, whilst being exposed to some of the best new examples of leadership in low carbon transformation, natural resource security, and sustainable finance.
