Project Overview

Using a number of products in Hadley Steel Framing's (HSF) offsite suite of products, the entire frame structure was designed, cold roll formed to shape, length, and individual panelised bespoke requirements. It was also weather protect boarded using British Gypsum Glasrock X sheathing board where needed at Hadley Group Global HQ in the West Midlands.

All components seamlessly integrate with each other to create the superstructure, as individual dwellings and as a collective set of townhouses. The Cold Roll formed components are complimented where required using a minimised qty of Hot rolled columns and connection details.

The system that was used in this particular application to deliver this scheme was Hadley Steel Framing 100mm Light Gauge Bolted Steel Frame, Panelised as a Bolted Frame Structure, with 150mm Deep Concrete Composite Floors. This scheme also had a requirement for Mansard Roof and Concrete tread infill Steel Stair pans, Steel Joists, and Hot Rolled Balconies provided to integrate with our superstructure.

Hadley Group Offsite Bolted Framing system enabled a quick, robust and reliable solution to be connected onsite in a very restricted site location with minimal distruption to the adjoining neighbourhood properties.
