Project Overview
As industry experts with over 20 years of experience in delivering high quality light steel framing systems, we were pleased to successfully contribute to the Holburne Park residential development site alongside various project partners. Using modern methods of construction and offsite technology, we were able to meet delivery targets while offering the sustainability and cost-benefits of steel to this collection of high-end, quality residences.
The project, which includes a mix of three and four-bedroom houses and five-bedroom luxury villas, was delivered over three distinct construction phases. Our team worked collaboratively with project leads and site teams to ensure we met the specific requirements for each phase - as well for each individual unit. Our light steel system offers complete control over design, meaning we were able to provide accurate cost, time and delivery calculations from start to finish. The Holburne Park development will offer homes that are both aesthetically in keeping with the world-heritage status of the city and surrounding green area, while using modern methods of construction that greatly increase long term sustainability.
As steel is widely recognised as one of the most sustainable construction materials, Fusion’s contribution to the overall project has helped to substantially lessen the potential whole-life environmental impact of the development. The Fusion team were able to work with project partners across each stage of planning, design, delivery and installation to ensure bespoke requirements were successfully met. Construction offsite allowed faster production and reduced turnaround times when compared to other building methods.
Our BOPAS accredited steel framing system is developed based on the principles of adding value via Design and Manufacturing, embracing a DfMA (Designed for Manufacture and Assembly) approach at all stages. Holburne Park is a prominent showcase of collaborative construction practises, highlighting the benefits of offsite and steel technology as a cost and time saving solution in the residential construction space.
