House by Urban Splash is a pioneer of creating new homes using MMC. In 2016, the company's maiden modular product - the customisable Town House - launched at New Islington, Manchester; since then House by Urban Splash has continued to grow, creating hundreds of homes across the country. In 2018, the company vertically integrated its modular operations by acquiring the factory in which its homes were made from SIG PLC.

In May 2019 it was part of one the housing sector's biggest ever deals- a £90m partnership which saw Japan's biggest housebuilder - Sekisui House - and Homes England become partners and co-owners of House by Urban Splash.
