MEB Design - Frilford Heath Golf Club

Project Overview

MEB Design's brief was to create a new golf retail experience and performance centre. Defining the entrance to the club and improving 'way finding' were key drivers in the design. A curved walkway leads visitors from the car park to the clubhouse while maximizing the 'shop window' to the new shop. 

The first floor terrace also provides an outdoor multi-use space and a first floor, five hole putting green for members to test, and the resident professionals to coach, putters and technique. 

Inspiration for the innovative concept design was based on the swing of a golf club and the shape of a golf club head. Three options were offered and the 'driver' was unanimously accepted as the preferred design.
