Project Overview
MODULHAUS™ is a relocatable one-person volumetric modular home that offers exceptional energy efficiency, outstanding functional performance, and superior quality. Designed and developed by VOLUMETRIC™, a specialist manufacturer of custom-built homeless solutions – MODULHAUS™ is delivered to exceptional performance standards, fully equipped and futureproofed for Building Regulation changes and Future Home Standards. The energy strategy for MODULHAUS™ is designed to surpass the Future Homes Standards. Modules include low energy lighting, white goods, controlled flow showers and dual flush cisterns to minimise energy and water consumption. Renewable energy technology is built into every home including Air Source Heat Pumps and Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery systems. Combined with a highly airtight (less than 3 Air Changes/Hour) and well insulated structure, achieves U-values as low as 0.09W/m²K. Delivered 100% complete, ready for simple site connection and commissioning, the super energy efficient MODULHAUS™ homes reduce ongoing energy costs to less than £5 per week – meeting the guidelines outlined by the Future Homes Standard and negating fuel poverty.
